This machine is a piece of crap. I cannot perform any of the resets because it will not turn off. Even after unplugging, waiting 20 sec & trying the key sequence, when I replug, the power button is on and the screen blank. What a tremendous waste of money.

When the screen is blank, and the power button is on, pressing the power button again may bring up a display on the screen. Does on mine… 8600.

No try unit it goes to the menu

Their other menu, when the printer is power on and display on home position just press return button 5 time to go the support menu.

None of these seem to work with my computer. I have really been frustrated because all of the sudden it quit printing black ink. I have cleaned all the printer heads, so much so that i am almost of of colored in. I have calabrated, alingned and anything else I need to do to get this printer working properly. It will not copy in black ink and every time I try to aline, on the front it say alignment failed. No reason why. So I though it must need to be reset. Most resets require you to press on # and an actual number, but my numbers only who when using the copy or fax. I unpluged it but when I plug it in it just comes back on by itself it does not shut down. Any more good advice?

How am I supposed to perform a full reset, when my problem is that the touch screen doesn’t respond. Everything I need to do involves me using my touch screen. Bloody annoying…it’s like a catch 22
