Problem:
There is no option for scanning into a PDF format when scanning from HP solution center. This problem may occur on all HP scanners or all-in-one’s it does not matter if it’s a photosmart, officejet, or deskjet.
Possible cause:
The full feature software is not fully installed.
Solution:
Insert the installation disc. If you do not have the disc you may download the full feature software in HP.com. Installation screen should pop up after a couple of minutes. In the installation screen click on “Install more softwares” and install all the components that are available for installation. In this case most probably the OCR software was not installed.
