Internet Explorer 8 Causing Problems on HP Softwares

I am witting this post to inform you all that Windows Internet Explorer 8 beta version is causing Problems with HP Softwares. This is due to the fact the IE 8 is still on it beta version. There are still bugs and flaws that need to be discovered and then eventually fixed by Microsoft. Until the official release of the stable version of Internet explorer 8, Hp could not be installed on a computer with Internet explorer 8 on it. HP is still not yet compatible with IE8.

Symptoms:

1. Installation of HP software fails a few moments after installation starts.
2. Could not uninstall any of the HP softwares in the “Add or Remove programs” in Windows Xp or if you are using windows vista, in “Programs and Features” under control panel.
3. Generally, HP software does not work.

Remedy:

1. Downgrade you Internet Explorer 8 to a HP compatible version of Internet Explorer (IE 5, IE 6 or IE 7) by going the Add or Remove Programs (XP) , Programs and Features (Vista) and remove/unistall Windows Internet Explorer 8.
2. Restart Computer.
3. Uninstall/Install HP software. If there are previous HP softwares, remove them and reinstall them, make sure you follow the steps correctly.
