There are several reasons why your HP printer is printing blank pages. Below is a list of possible causes and solutions.

  • Ink Cartridge Depleted – Your printer may be low or out of ink, to resolve this you can purchase ink from HP Shopping and receive the ink next business day without shipping charges.
  • Printer Conflicts – some third-party application or service is conflicting with your print driver. Resolve this issue by installing an alternative HP  printer driver.
  • No Service Packs Installed – if your system is running on Windows XP, then you need to make sure you have installed at least service pack 2 in your system. Resolve this issue by installing Service Pack 2 and then Service pack 3. You can also do this automatically by turning ON your Windows Automatic Updates in your control panel.

My HP Printer D7360 only prints blank pages with scrible printing at top, now that I have upgraded to Windows 7. I also have Mozella Firefox instead of internet explorer. How can I fix the printing problem. HP Smart Web printing does not show up on my Mozella Firefox toolbar?

I have an HPD4160. It is printing blank pages. I put in a new cartridge and noticed a pile of blank ink on the grey foam pad beneath the cartridge — I guess that’s how the other one got emptied. The new one still won’t print, though the machine “goes through the motions.” What’s going on?
