hewlett packard office pro 7780
I seem to have a worn out belt on the printer head. I get an error message saying there is a paper jam and while doing an extensive search for remaing jammed paper I saw the belt is worn. can I get a belt and is there diagrams showing disassembly available?

For those using the L7780 with a mac and having problems with it freezing when setting up the wireless, I think I figured it out. There is no firmware update for mac, so you have to do it like this:

1. Set up a manual IP, Subnet, and Default Gateway on your printer under settings --> network --> advanced. The IP needs to be different from other devices on the network (as said above). So, if your IP is 198.168.1.1, change the printer to 198.168.100.200 (the printer uses three digits in all spots).

2. Then check your mac under system preferences --> network --> TCP/IP for the subnet mask.

3. Then your default gateway should be the same as your router (in this example 198.168.1.1). You'll find this in the same place as your subnet mask.

4. Now run the wireless setup wizard. Don't run it before you've finished the other tasks.

If your printer is frozen, unplug it 20 seconds, then press and hold # and 3 while you plug it in. Hold for 5-10 seconds. It will say in a few moments that it resent. This should get you up and running again.
