    Good Evening Mark,

I unfortunately am writting to you today in regards to the Level of Services I have received in all regards to your product I have purchased, an HP Dv6000 Laptop. When referenceing Levels of service in the above statement, I am referring to Level of Service from a Consumer-wearthy product (the laptop), Level of Service from the 3rd Party Vendor (in this case, Best Buy), Level of Service from HP’s own Customer Service, and Level of Service via Business Ethics and a Business Model going down the wrong path.

My laptop happens to be one of the PV6000 Models which has a manufacturing defect that occurs in 1 out of every 7 made. Given the numbers, if you have any background in Process Improvement (SixSigma), you would already be advised of your severe issue. The technology manufacturing fault of this type, is that, over a period of time (avg= 1.5 – 2.0 years), the on-board WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) Card eventually overheats and therefore, eliminating its functionality.

To some this may seem to be a subtle inconvience, however, to someone such as myself, who ownes a Technology Project Management / PMO / Process Improvement Consulting Firm & runs strictly on wireless, it is to say the least, a show-stopping factor on my contracts.

In my most recent research regarding this matter, I have come across >=300 pages of HP being in negative light due strictly to this very issue.

In my hopes of you being a great 360 degree leader, and your need for your company to shine within this lack-luster economy, you will do that which is in favor of the consumer, and extend the warrenties for this particular defect and induce a recall. If 1 out of every 7 rounds shot out of a Marines riffle did not fire, we just might not have the independence for free trade.

If it is so that you decide to go against all that is good, I have prepared statements /claims which will be disributed to the California Attorney Generals Office, the BBB, The Palto Alto Chaimber of Commerce, Consumer Affairs, and a few syndicated News Channels, to include MSNBC.

In addition to the above stated. I have also confided in my good friend and attorney, Phillip Cramer. Who has advised me as to what it would take to initiate a Class-Action Lawsuite. Both HP and Best Buy being named in the suite as the Defendents.

And lastly, I have created a website to strictly asvise consumers of the possible defect, which I will put a great deal of monetary resources towards to assure I win the top site within my google Pay-Per-Clicks for any consumer which enters the words HP, or the full Co. name.

While I am quite sure it will not go as far as the above stated and I am in great hopes that this matter can be taken care of like gentlemen. Please be advised that I will have absolutley no issues what so ever in putting into effect the statements / claims listed above.

I thank you very much for your time Mark, and I do wish you the best in your endeavors.

    Respectfully,

    Aaron J. Martin

So I sent my computer into HP to have a new battery put in a new cpu cooling fan installed and my cd rom replaced. HP calls me and tells me my computer and been destroyed beyond all repair there was a liquid poured in it. Thats funny it worked when it left my hands except for the battery the cd rom and the cooling fan. So they tell me they are shipping my computer back to me unrepaired. So thanks HP for the really cool $1,300 paper weight. I dont see how it went from my hands sorta working to in the box then to fedex 30min after being in the box to HP for 4 days before they call and tell me that someone or some how liquid got spilled all over my keyboard and some how messed up my motherboard witch caused my battery to stop taking a charge witch made my cd rom go out witch made my cpu cooling fan sound like a buzz saw.. If thats the case why weren’t any of my keys sticky at the time I boxed it up??? How come in the pics you sent me HP there is no proof of a liquid being spilled? Why is it that my working hard drive is no longer working? I have a pic of it working the night before I sent it into HP. HP sent me an email telling me that they would fix it at no charge to me and that it is under warranty. Now they are telling me over the phone they can’t fix unless I shell out $1000. When I asked about my hard drive they said it failed and doesn’t work but it worked when I shipped it out. Now when I get my computer back its not going to work at all and they say its my fault but when I sent it in I could get into windows I could do just about everything but play or burn cd’s or dvd’s or use my computer on battery power yes the buzzing sound from the fan was a pain at lest I had a computer not a $1,300 paper weight. I will never buy any HP products again and I hope you read this and think twice about buying HP products their customer support team sucks and did nothing to try and make this right or make sure their customer was happy.
