Recently Wordpress users have been experiencing issues with firefox wherein every time you try to add an image to your post firefox crashes! This is a very painful experience for wordpress users.
Luckily, we already have a solution for this particular issue. The problem is being cause by Google Gears, a plugin that speeads up wordpress by locally storing common components and then calling them when necessary. This issue arised when GEARS updated to its latest version.
The solution:
To fix this issue, you need to disable GEARS in your add-ons menu. You do not need to remove it as this bug would probably be fixed on the next update.
