Default HP print drivers may not work sometimes in your system. For some reason conflicts exists in your computer making default installation of your printer driver fail. To Fix this you can use alternative drivers for your printer that will surely work in your system without any problems. You just need to install the printer driver manually in your printers folders by adding a new printer and selecting the correct port, which is USB Printer Port for USB connected printer and TCP/IP port with the correct IP address for network connected printers. Select HP as the manufacturer and use the following product’s drivers:
- Deskjet 990c
- If the Deskjet 990c does not work you can download and install Deskjet D2400. You can follow the instructions on this HP page.
